Definition of Dyslexia
Dyslexia affects millions of people
worldwide yet there is no accurate or
universal definition of dyslexia.
Clearly, dyslexia means a person has a
problem with reading and comprehension.
However, without proper understanding
and help, a dyslexic will struggle with
more than reading and will experience
additional problems related to behaviour,
motivation and life decisions.
Dyslexia

following signs or symptom:

transpositions, omissions, substitutions, and reversals in letters, numbers

reading, writing, or copying.
Seems to have difficulty with vision, yet eye exams don't
reveal a problem.

Support/Help for the Dyslexic and Visual
Learner
The ability to read
is essential to being able to learn and
obtain work. If phonics is not
working for your child then an
alternative solution is appropriate.
New research indicates the phonics
method of teaching children to read is
not necessary past the initial stages of
learning and continuing with it may
disadvantage them in the long term
(research link).
We have
the expertise in the
providing the solution:
An individualised
Multi-Sensory (non-phonics) solution using an experiential, visual,
