Brenda Baird is part of the National Dyslexia Forum, specialists who will
report to the Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and
Children's Services, Bill Shorten, on the shortfall in services for people
with dyslexia.
Part of Brenda’s success with her clients is her personal understanding and
knowledge of dyslexia. These valuable skills can only be obtained through
her own experiences with dyslexia and of her experiences as a parent of
dyslexic children.
Brenda for over 10 years has successfully provided programs to clients from Australia, and
Overseas, and travels to locations outside of the South East Queensland
region. Most programs are conducted in Brisbane
or Sydney however we can arrange to travel to you if you live a significant
distance from these centres. Consideration can be made for areas outside of
NSW and QLD.
Seminars are now being offered on an individual or group basis.

- At Dyslexia Australia, we believe that dyslexic can achieve success by
using their picture thinking abilities.
Most dyslexics are multi-dimensional thinkers. That simplified means that their
imagination and their sense of how something is seen, is greatly enhanced. They are very
intelligent, intuitive, curious about how things work, and imaginative.
- They can often display great talents in the areas of :
| Arts |
Designing architectural and engineering concepts |
Planning and Strategising |
| Telling a story |
Inventing things or reworking an invention to make it
better |
Awareness of the spatial limitations they encounter. |
